As the Winter draws in it’s important to take good care of your skin! Leaving it exposed to the elements can cause it to dry out, especially your lips! Not only is this super simple lip balm recipe great for chapped lips, the iced wintermint flavour and packaging makes it a great looking gift!
Things you need to make:
- A saucepan
- Jars to put your final product in (we used these blue 15ml glass jars and silver aluminium lids.)
- Spoon/Measuring Spoons
- Weighing Scales
- A heatproof jug
Ingredients (Makes approx. 90ml):
How to make:
Meltdown all of your lip balm base on the hob.
Once your base has melted, transfer to a heatproof jug. Mix in your 5ml of flavouring and stir thoroughly.
Once your flavour is mixed in, place your jar on your scale, this is to ensure you pour an equal amount in each! Then go ahead and fill the jars, this mixture will make 90ml we have used 6 X 15ml jars but you could use 3 X 30ml jars if you would prefer.
Let your lip balms set! This usually takes an hour or two, if you want to speed this up you can just pop them in the fridge!
