This week’s #MakeItMonday is a simple recipe for some Winter Snow Bath Salts. These make a great gift, especially at this time of year because they look so much like salts! Adding salts to your bath softens the water, adds some great detoxifying minerals and a great fragrance to your tub! You can use any fragrance you want, and even customise them with colours or dried botanicals!
What You’ll Need:
- A large mixing bowl
- A whisk
- 250ml Tubs to put your final product in (if you’d rather just fill one tub then you can quarter the recipe)
- Lids to fit your tubs!
- 130g of Dendritic Salts
- 120g of Epsom Salts
- 750g of Extra Coarse Sea Salts
- 10ml of Essential Oil/Fragrance Oil (We love a minty fragrance, like this Mint Frost fragrance!)
How To Make:
Measure out your Dendritic Salt into your mixing bowl and add your essential/fragrance oil. Mix together thoroughly using your whisk, ensuring all of the salt has been fragranced.
FUN FACT: We put the essential oils in the Dendritic salt because due to it having a larger surface area meaning it is best at absorbing the oils.
Mix in your Epsom Salt
Then mix in your Extra Coarse Sea Salts. At this point make sure everything is mixed in thoroughly. This is also the perfect time to add any extras you may want to, like colourant or dried botanicals!
Split your salts between your tubs!
Print out this free label and stick it to your tub! Then relax, put your feet up and have a cuppa knowing you’ve got 4 Christmas presents down!
