We have such a large range of ingredients & products, all prices are available on our website: www.thesoapkitchen.co.uk

Although it has been discontinued we might be able to order some directly from our supplier, but there would be a minimum order quantity depending on the ingredient. With fragrances this could be 1 – 2 litres. Please email enquires@thesoapkitchen.co.uk if you need to source this ingredient.

Expiry dates are always listed on a Certificate of Analysis (CoA), if you need further information about Expiry dates please visit our blog post here

The best way to find out information on selling products legally is buy visiting this helpful article on our blog: Here

All of our ingredients are cruelty free! By nature of them being vegetable sourced, our oils, butters, waxes, essential oils and botanicals are vegan-friendly except where stated (tallow and beeswax being examples of animal origin). Other products such as mineral pigments, clays etc., are by nature not derived from any animal sources. Precise formulas of fragrance oils can sometimes be difficult to establish but the vast majority of all fragrance blends will be entirely vegan-friendly. Some dyes and pigments may contain animal-derived content (e.g.carmine red). There may be a small number of other products that you’d need to enquire about.

Our products are all held in bulk in our warehouse and we have no shop where product is displayed to browse. For health and safety reasons we are unable to admit visitors freely to our warehouse, so sadly it’s impossible for anyone visiting to view our ingredients. Customers are welcome to collect orders from our premises by prior arrangement but please do not turn up unannounced or expect to be able to browse our large product range or place orders at the time. All customer orders are down-packed from bulk which takes time and requires an advance order.

We are an eCommerce company so naturally we’d prefer you to order online. We do have telephone order facilities but these are limited as most of our staff are usually dealing with other customer enquiries. If your order is small and you really cannot place it online then please phone it through, but for larger orders and prompt service we would request you always order online. If it is impossible, we’d still prefer to receive orders in writing via email. To avoid any confusion, product reference codes are usually required.

First of all, please be aware that Brexit is not an instant process and will take an estimated 2 years after the formal ‘article 50’ was triggered, with the actual timing of successful negotiations being as yet unknown. Until then the UK remains an EU member and we carry on as usual. In the meantime the current effects of the currency markets reducing the strength of the GB Pound against other major currencies, in particular the Euro and the U.S. Dollar has 2 major consequences…. A: It’s cheaper for our international customers to buy from us in the UK. B: Our raw materials imported from throughout the world continue to increase in price resulting in necessary price rises of some of our products and ingredients.

Bespoke Moulds Finished Products

Once an order has been placed and full payment received, we can usually produce and ship a silicone mould within 10 working days. Subsequent orders for repeat moulds may be quicker because the formers are already made so production is quicker.

Oval 75mm x 50mm
Rectangle 75mm x 50mm
Circle 60mm diameter
Square 60mm x 60mm

Each silicone block produced, will contain 3 cavities. The silicone block measures approximately 235mm x 95mm x 30mm (size and shape of block may vary). Each cavity has a maximum depth of 25mm.

Send a digital image of your required text, and/or logo to our design department. A decision will be made as to whether the image will reproduce successfully. If necessary, help and suggestions will be given as to how to adjust the image for a successful mould. It must be stated at this stage what shape mould is required as this will have a bearing on the fit. In some cases, if the logo needs to be redrawn, this would incur an extra charge, but your agreement to this would always be obtained in advance. A bespoke quote will be calculated before any production work is carried out.

We recommend these moulds for use in melt and pour soap making for best results. Although silicone is a suitable material for cold-process or hot-process soap, the detail of moulds will be better reproduced with melt and pour soap base.

Bespoke personalised (Moulds/ Labels)

Our bespoke customisable label range is only intended for use alongside our wholesale products. They are printed with all the legal & relevant information for that specific product- weight/volume, full ingredients list, specific batch code, all with ‘made by the Soap Kitchen’ printed on the backs.

Collection & Delivery

Please wait until you receive an email stating your order is ready to collect from our warehouse. Items are hand picked & packed, we will inform you when they are ready.

This depends on the weight – The heavier it is the more it costs. The actual cost can be confirmed for you on stage 2 of the checkout once the address has been entered. Shipping cost includes a full tracked service to ensure your shipment arrives with you safely and our policy is never to profit from shipping, only to cover cost.

With shipping at The Soap Kitchen, we normally aim for a lead time of around 2 – 3 working days for dispatch, after which the order will be dispatched via your selected tracked service. If you need a faster delivery time, for an urgent order as an example, you can choose the Express delivery option for a next working day delivery, as long as the order was placed before the 11am cut off point. We are also now able to offer weekend deliveries to many UK destinations at a small extra cost. At the top right hand corner of the website is information of the progress of order dispatch, letting you know what dates orders are being shipped. This will give you an approximate dispatch time if you’ve chosen standard or economy delivery.

If you would like to place an order to ship to an FPO/APO address, we do have to set a weight limit of 2kg (including packaging) per package. These parcels will be sent by Royal Mail.

Orders, Complaints and returns

We’re sorry to hear you’re not happy with your order. Of course, returning your order to us isn’t a problem. All orders (except for bespoke items) can be cancelled/returned to us within 14 days, and as long as the items are still in a good condition with original packaging, we will be able to give you a full refund including the outward shipping. However, we cannot refund you the cost of the return carriage to us unless the goods were sent to you in error. You will need to email our sales team at sales@thesoapkitchen.co.uk to request a returns form to begin the returns process.

Product information

In order that we can supply our customers with DEB100 we require them to have a TSDA license and to send us a copy of this license. We will then be able to supply in quantities not exceeding 20Lt up to any annual maximum their license specifies.

You can also contact them by post at the following address:

There is simply too much information to supply paper copies of each ingredient for each order, therefore any relevant documentation you need will be listed below the item description on our main website: www.thesoapkitchen.co.uk
